The process of sugar beet making includes juice extraction, cleaning, evaporation, crystallization, honey separation, drying, etc. The process technology of the last four processes is basically the same as that of sugar cane:

1. To extract juice, beet pretreatment and shredding should be carried out first, and then the exuded juice should be prepared.

2. Pretreatment, beet should be pretreated by transportation, impurity removal, washing and other pretreatment before processing.

3. Preparation of exudate juice, the process of extracting sugar from shredded cabbage with water as a solvent is called exudation, and the obtained sugar-containing aqueous solution is called exudate juice, and the shredded cabbage after sugar extraction is called waste meal.

4. Clean, the presence of non-sugar in the exuded juice will cause difficulties in processing, affect the quality of sugar products and increase the amount of waste honey and sugar loss. Therefore, cleaning should be carried out before the juice concentration and crystallization to remove as much non-sugar as possible.
