The sugar-making method is not complicated. The sugar cane or beet is pressed out of the juice, and the impurities are filtered out, and then an appropriate amount of lime water is added to the filtrate to neutralize the acid contained in it, and then filtered to remove the precipitate. The water is precipitated into calcium carbonate, and the filtrate is repeated, and the obtained filtrate is an aqueous solution of sucrose. The sucrose aqueous solution is evaporated, concentrated and cooled under reduced pressure in a vacuum, and a reddish-brown slightly viscous crystal is precipitated, which is brown sugar. If you want to make white sugar, you must dissolve brown sugar in water, add an appropriate amount of bone charcoal or activated carbon, absorb the colored substances in the brown sugar water, filter, heat, concentrate, and cool the filtrate, and a white crystal - white sugar appears.
The process flow of the sugar factory is: raw material → juice extraction → clarification → evaporation → sugar boiling and crystallization → honey separation → drying → sieving → packaging → storage Pressing, exuding and grinding

The sugar cane production process includes:
①Extract juice. The cane stalks are chopped by a group of rapidly rotating knives on the conveyor belt of the pressing workshop, then broken by a tearing machine, and then continuously squeezed out by 4 to 7 three-roll presses in sequence. The juice from the tearing machine and the first press is called the mixed juice.
② clean. Mixed juices contain various non-sugars and must be cleaned before further processing. The widely used methods are the lime method and the sulfurous acid cleaning method. The lime method is mostly used to make raw sugar cane.
③ Evaporation. After being cleaned, the clear juice is preheated and put into a vertical evaporation tank with a built-in heating steam drum, and hot steam is introduced to make the sugar juice heated and evaporated and concentrated to become a syrup that can be boiled and crystallized.
④ Boil sugar, assist crystal, and divide honey. The syrup is pumped into a sugar-boiler and further heated under vacuum to evaporate. After being evaporated and concentrated to a certain degree of supersaturation, the powdered sugar can be added to crystallize. Then continue to add syrup or molasses continuously to make the crystal grains grow gradually until the massecuite with crystal content and mother liquor concentration is formed in the whole tank, which can be put into the tank. The released massecuite flows into the honey separator through the crystal aid tank, and the mother liquor is separated by centrifugal force. The separated mother liquor, that is, molasses, can be boiled for the 2nd and 3rd times and divided into honey.
⑤Raw sugar refining. First, add molasses to the raw sugar juice for washing, then separate it again by a centrifuge, wash the crystal grains, add a small amount of lime milk and filter with diatomaceous earth; then decolorize the refined sugar liquid.
